Devolving to Armed Conflict? |

As I sit here watching these Town Hall Meeting videos, I can't help but wonder, how far are we from actual armed conflict. I am NOT a conspiracy theory nutcase or anything like that, I am just stating facts I have seen with my own eyes. On one side we have the President and his statist cronies, on the other side you have the hard working tax paying American populace. The hardworking people have had enough, they have only ONE request from their government...to represent them. The White House and Congress with a few notable exceptions are doing the exact opposite, they are not only not representing their constituents, they are actively ridiculing them as "astroturf", "racist", and "tea bagging rednecks" for thier dissent. I am starting to wonder how much further will the White House and Congress push the American people. Will they push until there is an armed mob standing in front of the White House demanding the head of the President? Or, will they back down and actually represent the people?

I normally don't post other peoples writings, however I ran across this printed in the English version of the Russian newspaper Pravada. It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people. True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists. Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

The forum post about the Oathkeepers by Debbie and Jeff got me to thinking about just how many of us took that Oath seriously. For those of you that were not in the military let me share the Oath with you. "I, _____, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." No place in the oath does it say that the Oath expires the day you leave the military. I personally have been out of the Marine Corps since 1994, but even to this day I still take that Oath very seriously. I still feel that I have an obligation to this country to uphold that oath I took almost 20 years ago.
